A recent study, published in Plastic &amp; Reconstructive Surgery in June 2024, investigates how different scrub colors and styles influence the public&#8217;s perception of the qualities of plastic surgeons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SgafDMxxpbs?si=AOpUYiAkp959Ew4S\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Study Methods<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A survey was conducted through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mturk.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MTurk <\/a> platform, where participants were asked to rate images of surgeons wearing scrubs of different colors: black, navy blue, blue and green. In addition, traditional and adjusted scrubs were evaluated. Respondents rated characteristics such as representativeness, skill, confidence, knowledge and compassion using a Likert scale. Analysis of variance and one-tailed t-tests were used to analyze differences in grade point averages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Results\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Results<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A total of 562 responses were collected.
