RECOVERY
How long does blepharoplasty recovery take?
Blepharoplasty is an outpatient surgery. The recovery is quite mild compared to other facial surgeries:
- Days 1-3: normal periorbital swelling and bruising. Application of local cold. Rest at home.
- Day 7: removal of stitches. At this time most patients are able to return to work.
- Weeks 2-4: scars become less and less visible. Make-up can be used from the first week after stitch removal.
- Month 3-6: definitive result. Scars are practically imperceptible.

Postoperative
