Liposuction or liposculpture
Liposuction is a procedure that allows you to sculpt your body by removing unwanted fat by removing unwanted fat from specific areas, including the abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin, cheeks, and neck.
Over the past decade, liposuction has benefited from new advances and has also been referred to by several different names, such as lipolaser or Vaser.
Lipolaser or Vaser: is a liposuction method that reduces postoperative bruising, swelling, and pain. Because blood loss is minimized during tumescent liposuction, the use of this technique reduces the likelihood of needing a blood transfusion.
These techniques help plastic surgeons provide selected patients with better results and shorter recovery times.
Liposuction is designed to sculpt your figure and reduce volume, not weight. Liposuction can remove areas of fat that do not respond to traditional methods.
Careful evaluation of your body is essential to ensure you achieve the best results. Skin with good elasticity responds better to contouring after liposuction than skin with poor elasticity, where excess skin may develop after excessive liposuction.

Candidates for Liposuction
Careful evaluation of your body is essential to ensure you get the best results:
- More elastic skin types respond better to reshaping after liposuction than less elastic skin types, in which excess skin may result from excessive liposuction.
It is important to understand what liposuction can do for you. - The best candidates for liposuction are those with firm, elastic skin who have certain localized areas of excess fat and who are very close to their normal body weight.
When the purpose of liposuction is to harvest fat for fat grafting, the procedure is called lipotransfer.
Our liposuction procedures include scar treatment using PRP and growth factors. We also offer the option of laser treatment for scars resulting from liposuction one week and one month after the procedure.
The combination of these two treatments improves the quality of scars and reduces healing time.
We carry out this intervention in Palma de Mallorca.
The price of the intervention is delivered after consulting with Dr. García Ceballos.
During the consultation you will be able to see before and after photos of cases similar to yours.
If you travel or consult us from anywhere in Spain, UK or Europe you can request your telematic consultation via Skype.
It is convenient to put yourself in the hands of a specialist in Plastic cosmetic and reconstructive surgery to carry out this type of intervention.

Lipotransfer or Fat Grafting
A lipotransfer is a type of liposuction performed for fat grafting, or lipofilling.
Depending on the areas where fat is targeted, the amount of fat to be extracted may vary. For a fat graft to be performed, there must be sufficient fat deposits.
Anestesia: esta intervención se puede realizar tanto con anestesia local sedación o como anestesia general, dependiendo de la cantidad de grasa a extraer y la zona de injerto graso.
Result: After fat transfer or fat grafting, there is an increase in volume in the grafted area that may decrease over time. Residual fat will be permanent. (*See chart)
Lipotransfer or Fat Grafting
- Liposuction: When the purpose of liposuction is to harvest fat for fat grafting, the procedure is performed using cannulas that are typically thinner in diameter.
- Fat processing: Once the fat has been extracted, it is purified in a closed system to reduce the risk of infection and exposure of the fat to the air. Once the purified fat is obtained, it is dispensed into syringes of an appropriate volume so that it can later be injected, using a gun, into different layers in the areas to be grafted.
- Fat grafting: The fat extracted during liposuction can be used as a filler after it has been processed and injected; this is called lipofilling or fat grafting. It can therefore be used for breast augmentation with the patient’s own fat or buttock augmentation (BBL).
The areas where fat grafts can be used include the following, among the most common:
- Facial lipofilling for facial rejuvenation, either on its own or in combination with a facelift
- For facial fillers, cheekbones, lips, and/or nasolabial folds
- Lipofilling of the backs of the hands
- Breast Lipofilling
- Correction of abnormalities such as rippling, defects in portions of breast tissue in breast cancer, correction of irregularities after liposuction, and correction of sunken eyes.
How fat grafting or lipofilling works:
- Fat grafting or lipofilling increases the volume of the treated areas by improving skin quality.
- After grafting, there is an increase in volume that will last for a period of time, after which there may be a decrease in volume. (See graphic)
BEHAVIOR OF A FAT GRAFT / NANOFAT

Once the content has stabilized, it is permanent and will vary depending on each person’s weight changes.
If more volume is desired, the procedure can be repeated. The effect of this second fat grafting is cumulative; that is, the volume achieved during the first procedure is further increased.
Our lipotransfer procedures include scar treatment using PRP and growth factors. We also offer the option of laser treatment for scars resulting from the lipotransfer procedure one week and one month after the procedure.
The combination of these two treatments improves the quality of scars and reduces healing time.

Our greatest asset is our customers
Three days ago, I had lumbar liposuction surgery performed by Dr. Garcia Ceballos. I feel a bit stiff, but I’m not in any pain.
The results of the liposuction are already visible; at last, the two fat deposits I had—which just wouldn’t go away—have disappeared.
If I had known about it, I would have had it done sooner. Thank you, Dr.

I recommend Dr. Garcia Ceballos and his entire team to all of you who are considering cosmetic surgery in Mallorca.
In my case, I had gynecomastia surgery with liposuction a year ago.
The results have exceeded my expectations.
I recommend him 100×100

Liposuction is a surgical technique in which subcutaneous fat is removed using suction cannulas.
Depending on the amount of fat removed, the weight lost after liposuction can vary. It is important to keep in mind that fat is an insulating tissue for the body that helps it retain heat. As an insulator, it weighs relatively less than the volume it occupies.
In short, if you are overweight and are considering liposuction to lose weight, you will not achieve significant weight loss.
The results of liposuction are permanent. If you gain weight after liposuction, the areas that underwent liposuction will gain less weight than the untreated areas.
Liposuction is a unique procedure, although there are auxiliary techniques used to perform it, including variable ultrasound liposuction (VASER), laser-assisted liposuction, and water-assisted liposuction (WAL).
Laser liposuction is laser-assisted liposuction. During this procedure, the fat is dissolved using a laser light fiber. Once the fat has been dissolved, it is extracted using traditional liposuction cannulas. In some cases, when the amount of fat is minimal, extraction using a traditional cannula may not be necessary.
Proponents of laser liposuction defend it by explaining that it produces greater skin retraction and less trauma to the treated area. Scientific studies have not been able to prove that this effect is real*. It should be noted that traditional liposuction is also necessary for the procedure known as laser-assisted liposuction.
Laser-assisted liposuction requires a longer surgical procedure, since the laser cannula must be inserted first, and then the fat is removed using traditional methods.

The number of liposuction procedures that can be performed in one area will depend on the amount of residual fat.
The fat removed during liposuction is usually discarded, although in cases where the patient is a candidate for fat grafting, it can be reused. This allows us to perform lipofilling on the face, breasts, buttocks, and the backs of the hands on a more regular basis.
A lipotransfer is liposuction performed for fat grafting, or lipofilling.
Before undergoing lipoblastoplasty, you should know that you need to have sufficient fat deposits so that the fat can be extracted and used.
After fat grafting, there is an increase in volume in the grafted area that may decrease over time. Residual fat will be permanent.
The best way to achieve good results after liposuction is to have the procedure performed carefully by a qualified professional. After liposuction, it is beneficial to undergo radiofrequency lymphatic drainage, which will help reduce postoperative swelling. Compression during this period is also important, using an orthopedic girdle.
Although there is no set maximum amount of fat that can be removed during liposuction, it is advisable to avoid extensive liposuction procedures (more than 2 liters), as this increases the overall risk of complications.
The results of liposuction are visible immediately, although the final results will become apparent six or seven months after the procedure.
